Welcome to the West Leeds Muay Thai Academy!

A dedicated gym and bespoke training facility located in Pudsey, founded and run by two times British champion Lee Maggs. Forged through over a decade of top level competition with an impressive portfolio of champions, West Leeds Muay Thai Academy is the home of Muay Thai in Leeds.

We offer friendly classes for all ages, gender and skills; ranging from first time beginners to customized training programmes for professional fighters.

Lee has been actively involved in professional Muay Thai for over 25 years and some of his fights even appeared on Sky Sports. He has trained with numerous Thai Lumpini champions such as Signam, Wan Chan Noi, Chanrit, Lint and most actively Master Sken. Now a retired class A fighter, Lee concentrates all of his effort on coaching and passing on his vast knowledge and experience. Combined with his own unique approach and national qualifications in strength and training, Lee has created a fusion of traditional and modern techniques.
